Tiramisu Cheesecake combines the rich, velvety texture of cheesecake with the bold, coffee-flavored layers of classic tiramisu. The creamy filling and espresso-dipped ladyfingers come together to create a decadent dessert that will have everyone coming back for more.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup strong brewed espresso, cooled
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
- In a shallow dish, combine the espresso and coffee liqueur (if using).
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are moist but not soggy, then layer them over the cooled crust.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers, smoothing it into an even layer.
- Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers, followed by the remaining cream cheese mixture. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until fully set.
- Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings.
