Tiramisu Cheesecake

Tiramisu Cheesecake combines the rich, velvety texture of cheesecake with the bold, coffee-flavored layers of classic tiramisu. The creamy filling and espresso-dipped ladyfingers come together to create a decadent dessert that will have everyone coming back for more.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup strong brewed espresso, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
  7. In a shallow dish, combine the espresso and coffee liqueur (if using).
  8. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are moist but not soggy, then layer them over the cooled crust.
  9. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers, smoothing it into an even layer.
  10. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers, followed by the remaining cream cheese mixture. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  11. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until fully set.
  12. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings.
