Pineapple Pecan Cheese Ball

Ingredients:

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup additional chopped pecans (for coating)

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, drained pineapple, cheddar cheese, chopped pecans, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well blended.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands or a spatula.
  4. Roll the cheese ball in the additional chopped pecans to coat evenly.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  6. Before serving, let the cheese ball sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes to soften slightly.
  7. Serve with crackers, sliced veggies, or bread.
