Ingredients
For the Beef Mixture
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- ½ small white onion, minced
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- ½ cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
For the Sliders
- 12 pack slider buns
- ⅓ cup dill pickle slices
- 6 slices American cheese
For the Butter Sauce
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium-high heat, breaking the meat apart as it cooks.
- Drain excess grease, if necessary, then add the bouillon cube, water, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the liquid evaporates.
- Place the bottoms of the slider buns in a baking dish and top with the beef mixture.
- Add dill pickle slices on top of the beef, followed by the cheese slices, then place the top buns on.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Brush over the buns.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
