Hot Fudge Brownie Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade), plus extra for drizzling

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle 1/2 cup of hot fudge sauce over the batter, then add the remaining brownie batter on top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Drizzle with additional hot fudge sauce before serving for an extra decadent touch.

Enjoy this rich, fudgy treat that combines the best of brownies and bread!
