Asian-Style Ground Beef Spaghetti

The perfect blend of Asian-inspired flavors and classic spaghetti, this dish brings the best of both worlds. The rich, savory sauce coats each strand of pasta, while the ground beef adds hearty protein.

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for spice)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and chili flakes (if using). Mix well to coat the beef evenly.
  5. Toss in the julienned carrots and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss everything together until the noodles are well coated in the sauce. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious Asian-inspired flavors.
