Ingredients
- One 28-oz can Bush’s Baked Beans
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon onion & herb seasoning
- 1/4 cup minced onions
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell peppers
Directions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef, breaking it into small pieces.
- Stir in Worcestershire, brown sugar, onion & herb seasoning, and minced onions.
- Cook 5 minutes more, until onions are soft and mixture is well combined.
- In a baking dish, mix the beef mixture with the baked beans.
- Add chopped onions and green bell peppers; stir to distribute.
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cover dish and bake 30 minutes, until bubbly and peppers are tender.
- Let rest a couple minutes before serving.
