These Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs are an irresistible snack or appetizer, with golden, puffed biscuit exteriors giving way to a gooey, melted mozzarella centre. The soft, fluffy texture of the biscuit combined with the richness of the cheese creates the perfect bite-sized treat.
- Ingredients:
- 1 can of biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 125g mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Marinara sauce, for dipping
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) / 400°F.
- Grease a baking sheet with a little olive oil or line with parchment paper.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a round shape.
- Place a small cube of mozzarella in the centre of each biscuit, then pinch the edges together to form a ball, sealing the cheese inside.
- Place the biscuit bombs onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each.
- Brush the tops of the biscuit bombs with olive oil, then sprinkle with garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
