Cheesy Taco Sticks

Cheesy Taco Sticks are the perfect combination of soft, golden pizza dough, savory seasoned beef, and gooey melted cheese. They’re easy to make and a hit at any party, family dinner, or game-day gathering.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
  • Salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for dipping

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the beef is well coated and the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 8 equal rectangles.
  5. Place a portion of the seasoned beef and a generous amount of shredded cheese onto the center of each rectangle. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  6. Place the taco sticks seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush the mixture over the top of the taco sticks.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the sticks are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.
