Cheesy Taco Sticks are the perfect combination of soft, golden pizza dough, savory seasoned beef, and gooey melted cheese. They’re easy to make and a hit at any party, family dinner, or game-day gathering.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
- 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
- Salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for dipping
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the beef is well coated and the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 8 equal rectangles.
- Place a portion of the seasoned beef and a generous amount of shredded cheese onto the center of each rectangle. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
- Place the taco sticks seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush the mixture over the top of the taco sticks.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the sticks are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.
