Ingredients:

For the Cookie Dough Layer:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

For the Ice Cream Layer:

  • 1.5 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1.5 quarts chocolate ice cream, softened

For the Crust:

  • 20 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • Extra mini chocolate chips for garnish

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Freeze for 15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add milk and heat-treated flour, then stir in the mini chocolate chips. Set aside.
  3. Spread the softened chocolate ice cream evenly over the chilled cookie crust. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  4. Spread the cookie dough mixture on top of the chocolate ice cream layer. Freeze for another 30 minutes.
  5. Spread the softened vanilla ice cream over the cookie dough layer. Freeze the entire cake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
