Ingredients:
- 3 cups leftover stuffing
- 2 cups shredded leftover turkey
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plus more if needed)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Oil for frying or baking spray
For the Gravy Dipping Sauce:
- 1 cup leftover gravy, warmed
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine the leftover stuffing, shredded turkey, cranberry sauce (if using), cheese, eggs, breadcrumbs, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well incorporated and the mixture holds together.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used. If the mixture is too wet, add more breadcrumbs.
- To Fry:
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry the balls in batches for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- To Bake:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spray with baking spray. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until crispy and golden.
- Serve warm with gravy on the side for dipping, garnished with parsley if desired.
